The work on Tulsa's Zink Dam is finished. River Parks Authority announced the sixth and final "gate cylinder" was installed, meaning we'll see more water in the Arkansas River.
Water levels have been low since several hydraulic cylinders failed last year. The problem left one of the gates stuck open, so the water that came down the river just flowed right past the dam.

"Considerable effort and expense has been involved in replacing these massive cylinders," said Tonja Pitzer of River Parks.
"River Parks would like to thank PSO and the City of Tulsa for assisting with the cost of the project."
